Inquisitive

I have to admit to being really nosey. This is why I love this blog. The lady gets text messages meant for other Leilas. Imagine getting that snapshot into another persons life... magic.

I would like this, but I guess I would get disappointed everytime as I would think that it was for me. Hmmm.

Still cool.

  1. That is a quirky idea for a blog. I guess I've received a couple of stray texts, but rarely. And more importantly it didn't have a snappy name liked Leila involved!

  2. I know! I was thinking there can't be that many Leilas... but I guess in a city, and might be a more common name in America? It sounds like makings of a witty Rom-Com.

  3. I've lived in America most of my life and I don't think I've ever run across a Leila.

  4. Ah cool, where else have you lived? I've met one Leila and one Layla in all my 24 and a bit years in the UK. Apparently it's of Arabic origin.

  5. I was born in Pinner, Middlesex, but we moved to America when I was a toddler. I've spent most of my life in the Upper Midwest, in Minnesota mainly. But I lived in Normandy, France for about two years. And I went back to live in England (Lydney, Gloucestershire) to do my student teaching.

  7. I taught French to 15-17 year olds. (I forget the names of the grade levels in England.)

Say, Bath isn't too far away, is it? I didn't make it over there. I was able to get to an Aston Villa match in Birmingham and the opera in Oxford.
